In words of Dhan Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji
‘Aad Sach, Jugad sach, Hai Bhi Sach, Nanak Hosi Bhi Sach’
(He was True from beginning, He is True throughout the ages, True here and now, Will be True forever.)
In words of Dhan Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji:
“Aad Ant Eko Avtaaraa”
(From beginning to end there is Only The One.)
But we are mortals. We could only comprehend His presence when He desires. And I love moments when we manage to comprehend ‘The Formless’ presence. Such moments may not be His Vision but He makes us understand in form of events or thoughts or some time even outcome of our actions. No matter how much mortal feels to be ‘King or Emperor’ of world; no matter how much a mortal thinks he is control of every moment or action; no matter how much mortal tries to hide his evil plans and promote his goodwill, when He decides to ‘shut up’ the mortal there is no escape. And such moments happen, if you can realize and learn from them, there is a hope of being saved else you are taken to your grave, like Aurangzeb, in repent with no respite.
When ‘Baba Nanak’ spoke, the thrones of emperor shook. When ‘Baba Nanak’ spoke swords of emperor got stuck. When ‘Baba Nanak’ spoke emperors bowed down with humbleness. When ‘Baba Nanak’ spoke, emperor failed to stop Him speaking even by torturing. When ‘Baba Nanak’ spoke, emperors faced defeat in battle field. When ‘Baba Nanak’ spoke, emperors could not trick them. When ‘Baba Nanak’ spoke, emperors lost to ‘Sword of Peace’. And When ‘Baba Nanak’ spoke, emperors decayed in the guilt of their actions and could never capture Him. These are the moments in which ‘The Formless as manifestation of Baba Nanak’ tried to make us understand His presence. Those who realized were salvaged and those who did not rot away as filth.
